Aloha ʻāina
In Hawaiian culture, aloha ʻāina means “love of the land.” It reflects the understanding that the earth is a living presence that sustains and nourishes all life.
This ʻike (knowledge) reminds us to care for and respect the land, waters, and all living things. It teaches that when we mālama (steward) the ʻāina with gratitude and responsibility, we strengthen our relationship with place, community, and future generations.
